Guitar strap

This is a custom guitar strap for my bro Chris. Its got thick wool felt lining the shoulder pad for traction and cushion, and the leather is a heavy waxy harness leather that should hold up well to years of thrashing guitar solos.

Visit to Vermont factory

I met with Joel over at St J Stitching yesterday to work through some of the details pertaining to manufacturing our racer jacket and took some video with my little point and shoot to share with everybody. You can see us cutting some knit jersey material that will made into t shirts next week for the recently announced Queen City Dry Goods Vermont made t shirt line. Check out my little amateur video, and please help continue to spread the word about the Queen City Dry Goods kickstarter project by posting about it on facebook, twitter and other social media outlets.

Denim jacket, herringbone

Here is the 2nd draft of the men's denim jacket I've been working on.  The herringbone denim is beautiful stuff!  I ran the jacket through the wash last night to test the shrink rate and the fit is just right. the washing also gives the jacket a great look by allowing the material and stitching to relax and create the cool puckering  that is so distinct in denim.

If you haven't checked out the our kickstarter project, you can view it here

T shirts

Queen City is in the process of developing a Vermont made T shirt!  I just finished the first prototype.  To start, I will be offering 3 or 4 colors in a unisex size run, and it's a great fit.  The cotton is American made.  I hope to be in production very soon, so stay tuned!  As far as I know this is the only Vermont made Tshirt.  they will be available on the Queen City website either as blanks, or screen printed with the Queen City logo, and also available for wholesale orders as blanks, so let all those cool screen printers know.
